The main industry in Aomori prefecture, “Husbandry”.
Among the cultivations, the most prosperous is apple.
Since cultivation began in Meiji 8 (1875), it has boasted the No. 1 production ranking nationwide.
Such apple flowers are very cute. The flowers of apples are in the family Rosaceae, as the same with cherry blossoms, and cute with a little pink in white.
In early May, when the cherry blossoms are over, apple gardens become filled with pretty flower blooming.
It is the privilege of apple farmers to have another chance of flower viewing in their apple fields after cherry blossoms.
They get pretty busy in field works afterward.
There are so many things to do such as pollinating, flower picking, grass cutting, chemical spreading or so.
I work from the bottom of my heart by praying for apple to be big and delicious in autumn.

青森県の主産業のひとつ、「農業」。
その中でも最も栽培が盛んなりんご。
明治8年に栽培が始まって以来、現在は生産量全国１位を誇っている。
そんなりんごの花はとてもキュート。
桜と同じバラ科のりんごの花は少しピンク色が入った白色で可愛らしい。
5月上旬、桜が散る頃にりんご園は可憐な花で満開になる。
桜の花見の後に畑でりんごの花見ができるのはりんご農家の特権だ。
そして畑仕事は一気に大忙し。
受粉や摘花、草刈、薬剤散布などやることはいっぱい。
秋に大きくて美味しいりんごになれと心を込めながら作業をする。
